Welcome to neuroinf.pl

This site presents the Polish Neuroinformatics Portal Pilot. This project is part of a larger effort to promote the exchange of neuroscience data, data-analysis tools, and modeling software. This pilot project aims to be the information node for Polish neuroinformatics community. Additionally we want to provide resources for electrophysiological data obtained from animal models. We also try to develop the infrastructure needed for searching similar databases in similar portals.

Conceptual and technical problems have to be solved before the Portal can serve the community in a most efficient way. Nevertheless, this Portal Pilot is already on-line to allow interested users to explore the possibilities of this prototype and thus start the feedback process needed to make this Portal a community-driven resource. We would like to thank all users for their contribution and are particularly grateful for the continuous support from many members of the OECD Working Group on Neuroinformatics. The Portal Pilot is funded through a grant from the Polish Ministry of Scientific Research and Information Technology (KBN).

The site focuses on software tools and databases but other topics are covered as well (and more to come, see navigation panel). If you cannot find what you are looking for, please let us know!

Most importantly, you can contribute content to this site yourself. If you want to know how, read here.
